Throughout our centers, children explore and discover early learning concepts—such as number recognition, counting, matching, letter recognition, beginning sounds, rhyming, and more—through free play.
Our students stay active with daily outdoor time. While we do not offer outside, fee-based enrichment classes, we provide additional enrichment based on the unique skills of our current teachers. For example, teachers with a strength in music lead regular music experiences; teachers with artistic talents facilitate special art activities; and teachers who speak a second language naturally incorporate it into classroom learning.
Each class goes outside twice a day, rain or shine. Thanks to our proximity to local parks, we regularly go on walking field trips to nearby playfields, the University of Washington, and the Arboretum. When the weather is nice, we maximize outdoor time and play outside for two hours or more.
