At SLC, we take safety very seriously- especially in summer. We know how important it is to keep your kids protected from the sun and to avoid over heating. Since we take the kids out twice a day, rain or shine, we have protocol in place for all weather conditions.

In the summer/warm weather, we apply sunscreen to all of the kids before leaving the center. We provide Alba Botanica sunscreen to all of the children and have waiver forms for people to bring their own personal sunscreens in for their child. Additionally, we make sure to serve extra water, wear sun hats, and incorporate water play on hot days.
